My husband and I went to visit the Danzan Jinja Shrine.

It is dedicated Fujiwara Kamatari.

It is said that Fujiwara Kamatari and Nakano Oeno Oji talked here to beat Soga family.

This is very big and old shrine.

We saw many ancient pictures and statues, including Buddism statues.

His name is Gon.

Mix, male, 6 years old good and sweet dog.

He was accepted by animal control because his former owner got sick and no longer could keep him.

He is very friendly.

Though he is a big dog but he is like a baby.

My father became very happy when he first met Gon.

I'd like to take care of him as long as I can!

It's supposed to be still rainy season now, but we have had only few drops of rain more than 2weeks.

It's incredibly hot since last week as if it were already mid summer!

It's becoming hot suddenly, and then cold days come back soon.

My cat is confused because he doesn't know where is the comfortable place to sleep.

On the carpet, too hot. But on the wooden floor, still cold.

He is wandering in the house and tries to find the best place!

The cloud was looked very beautiful .

It was very hot today.

We had cold spring just one week ago, but suddenly came the summer.

And now green trees are so beautiful!

Today we held the local shrine festival that has 800years history.
Portable shrines are fell down from the mountain and brought to the shrine.
We visit the shrine at night and pray our health, happy, and wealth.

Very good weather and comfortable.
It's the start of rice planting.

My husband and I visited Kyoto to find some autumns.
Sagano is the area that is famous for beautiful view of Japanese maple leaves.
Now the end of September and maple leaves don't turn to red yet.
But it's not so hot and wind blow comfortably, we walked around here and there.

We visited Giouji temple, Danrinji temple, Daikakuji temple etc. and were satisfied with lots of ancient things.

My cat, Tamasaburo got sick yesterday.
He couldn't eat and walk at all, he had slept by the window all day long.
I took him to the vet and was diagnosed as " Inflamation of bile ducts".
He got a drip a day at the vet clinic, then he recovered entirely.
The vet said " He is quite bad. His blood test result is terribly bad and you should take him soon again when he doesn't eat at home."
Fortunately, he is still fine and cries loudly for food early in the morning!

The friendly mach game of basketball was held in my prefecture.
Unfortunately The high school team in Shiga lost all games.
We thought our team was not so strong than before.

I got a cool application that changes the photo to a comic touch picture.
That's greeat!!

What's happening!?

Screaming over my town!!

I visited the Tokyo Modern Museum to see the FSX museum.
It was planned by Anno director, who is the director of the famous animation "Evangerion", to make a movie of FSX by traditional Japanese FSX movies method without any CG.
I love Japanese FSX movies, KAIJU, like Gojilla, Gamera, or heroes like Ultraman, and others.
So it was amazing for me, fantastic and wonderful!!

I stayed about 4 hours there, watched many machines, masks, movies...
Among all, "Kyoshinhei appeared in Tokyo" was great.
Without any CG, they could express such a powerful pictures.
I was quite satisfied and had a very rich time today!

Togakushi is very beautiful place in the north part of Nagano prefecture.
My husband and I visited the old shrine of Togakushi and walked around.
The way to the shrine is bordered by large cedar trees.
They bring the ancient days to me.
We also visited Ninja House and saw some goods.
Togakudhi is full of nature and mysterious histories!

30th August, my coworker and I went to the Kyoto city aquarium.
It was established last year near the Kyoto station.
So it's new and very beautiful.

It's still hot today.
Now it's getting cooler outside a little by little, but inside the house is pretty humid.
My cat Tamasaburo wandered around to find cool places.
And finally he found his best place, in front of the fan!

It was too hot day.
So I went the Sonenuma Pond and got cool.

Now we are promoting TNR in our prefecture.
When people complained about troubles caused by stray cats, we tell them the effect of TNR and how to get along well with stray cats.

In many case, one or two feeders feed stray cats without spay/neuter and people have troubles with poop of increasing cats.
And in most of case, resident say "Take all cats away from this area!" with anger, but our law doesn't allow to eradicate stray cats.
So we persuade them to try TNR, which is the only effective way to reduce cats.

We accept requests from the representative of neighbors' community association to try TNR, then we help them to trap cats and spay/neuter with registered volunteers.

Last week, a volunteer trapped and brought 9 cats and kittens from the lake side village, where many many cats were abandoned.

We have many other jobs and don't have enough time to do surgery everyday, but we are trying to spay/neuter strays as many as possible.
